tss-5-pin-modern-non-deadlocking-nightlatch-40mm
TSS 5 Pin Modern Non Deadlocking Nightlatch 40mm

Nightlatches are a common locking product found mainly on residential front doors. They ordinarily feature a single sprung latch locking point which engages automatically when the door is shut, securing the property.

This TSS 5 Pin Modern Non-Deadlocking narrow nightlatch represents a cost-effective solution for applications requiring a modern lock and a standard level of security. The design reflects that of the most popular nightlatches on the market, and the modern look is suitable for a wide range of properties.

This 40mm backset nightlatch is specifically designed for doors with narrow stiles that cannot accept the larger 60mm backset of standard nightlatches.

When ordering, you have the option of purchasing the nightlatch supplied with a 5 pin rim cylinder and 3 keys, or just the case only which comes supplied with no cylinder.

This nightlatch features a means of mechanical holdback which allows the sprung latch bolt to be physically retained within the body of the nightlatch. When activated, the latch will not engage when the door closes, so the door will not be secured — worth considering for your application. Some holdback devices also allow the latch to be secured in the locked position, deadlocking the door even against a key from outside.

Key operated from the outside with a thumb-turn operation from the inside.

Specifications

Brand

TSS

Product Type

Rim Nightlatch

Backset

40mm (narrow stile)

Locking Type

Non-deadlocking sprung latch

Cylinder

5 pin rim cylinder supplied with 3 keys (or case only)

Operation

Key outside / thumb-turn inside

Holdback

Mechanical holdback function

Finishes

Brass, Chrome, Grey

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1040/4596/9747/files/3EEA25CC-E757-4C0F-B362-835E79160451.png?v=1773086579
https://craft-solutions-store.myshopify.com/products/tss-5-pin-modern-non-deadlocking-nightlatch-40mm
